Mannen praten vooral over zichzelf

Uit een niet-gefundeerd, onwetenschappelijk onderzoekje met het Corpus Gesproken Nederlands, blijkt dat Vlaamse mannen tussen de 25 en 34 jaar in spontane gesprekken van de woorden 'man', 'vrouw' en 'kind' het woord 'man' het vaakst gebruiken. Vlaamse vrouwen in dezelfde leeftijdsgroep gebruiken in spontane conversaties met elkaar vaker het woord 'kind' ten opzichte van 'vrouw' of 'man'. Kort (door de bocht) samengevat praten vrouwen altijd over kinderen en mannen het liefst over zichzelf.

Optimal Syllable In Improvised Singing

MA Thesis (linguistics) about the optimal syllable structure in singing of nonsense syllables. An experiment is carried out in which musicians improvise non existing syllables on three different melodies. This thesis is written in Dutch but there's an English abstract incorporated. An English paper about this subject will be available soon.

Minor and Major in speech?
